BPI Co. representatives participated on December 3rd and 4th, 2024, in the Annual International Conference on Information Services for the Danube River, DISC’24, held in Varna. This year’s event was themed New Generation Systems and Services for Inland Waterways in Europe. During the two-day forum, an overview was presented on the progress made by various countries in developing electronic navigation systems for inland waterway transport, data exchange, studies conducted, as well as providing an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and best practices regarding the use of new technologies and software solutions in this field.

BPI Co. participants presented to their colleagues the new functionalities of the Central and Eastern European Electronic Reporting System (CEERIS), plans for updating ports along the route, additional data search filters, improvements to the user interface, and a more detailed presentation of statistical data. It is expected that these changes will be implemented in the system soon, allowing all users to benefit from the new developments.
