  • National Center for E-documentation in Maritime Transport

The centers for shipping information services Varna and Burgas are interoperable with the system for traffic management. The information centers perform the functions of “one stop shop” or maritime “portal” pursuant to Directive 2010/65/EU.

Information obtained in accordance with the formalities of information for ships arriving in and/ or departing from ports of the Republic of Bulgaria shall be entered in the national part of Europe-wide SafeSeaNet system.

The system provides individual secure electronic access of registered external users (operators, ship owners, agents) detection procedures and the provision of information on regulation and access to the resolutions of the border control services and information on the progress of implementation of them in open procedures.

For customer service is organized 24-hour duty in two equal offices – Varna and Burgas.
