The Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company (BPI Co.) joined as a co-organizer the International Maritime Forum Global Compass, which took place within 19 - 20 September 2024 in the city of Varna together with the Bulgarian Shipmaster’s Association (BSMA). Specialists in the marine industry from leading Bulgarian and international companies and organizations took part in the two-day event. Among the highlights of the planned working panels were: current challenges and solutions related to security and safety in shipping, environmental protection, maritime law, sustainable development of water transport and others. The event provided an opportunity for exchange of experience and good practices among the participants, and was a bridge for creating successful professional contacts and business relations.
