For another year the traditional regatta for keel sailboats Cor Caroli in Varna will gather professional athletes, lovers and fans of sea boat racing. The competition will take place within August 14 – 18, 2024 in the waters of the Varna Bay during the first two days.

On the first day, a demonstration ProAm race will be held, which will involve not only the permanent crews of the boats, but also amateurs who would love to feel the magic of sailing from aboard the racing yachts.

On the second day of the regatta, Upwind and downwind type races will be held in the bay of the sea capital. Residents and guests of Varna will have the chance to observe the event from the Sea Garden.

On August 16 the boats will sail the distance from Varna to St. Vlas and on August 17 – from St. Vlas to Varna. On the last day the race will follow the route Varna - Aladzha banka - Varna, and at the end of the day the first, the second and the third place finishers in each category will be officially awarded. The Cor Caroli Blue Ribbon award will be presented to the crew of the fastest boat to cover the distance.

The sea regatta is organized by the Municipality of Varna, Yacht Club Port Varna, and the Cor Caroli Foundation. It is supported by the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company (BPI Co.).
