The public access area at Port of Burgas attracted hundreds of young people on August 20 and 21, 2022 and transformed into a space of dreams come true, bringing together popular vloggers, TikTokers, youtubers, actors, sportsmen and singers, who joined forces against the modern opiate that has become so popular amongst the Bulgarian young – laughing gas.

The latest, third edition of the one-of-a-kind European festival, focused on adolescents – TEEN BOOM FEST – took place under the slogan #BalloonsAreDecoration with a lot of adrenaline and positive emotions. The event, organized by “Festival BG“ OOD and the Burgas Municipality was supported by the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company (BPI Co.).

Apart from all the fun, the objective of this year’s edition was to inform young people of the dangerous effects of the balloons, containing laughing gas. During the event, youngsters heard messages, promoting informed and reasonable decision-making.

During the summer months the Public Access Area of the Port of Burgas becomes a stage of the largest and most exciting events. Built and maintained by the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company, it is the result of Company’s efforts, focused on the improvement and development of the area of Port Terminal Burgas East 1. In the last few years, BPI Co. built the Burgas Passenger Terminal, renovated the signature building Warehouse 1, built the modern Coastal Center for Vessel Traffic Management and Information Services Burgas and also built the International Congress Center Burgas, enabling the city to host various international events.
