The Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company for yet another year pleased children with presents and festivities for the International Day of the Seafarer. On the day of the celebration, the kids from the Municipal Children’s Complex – Varna learned curious facts about the sailors’ profession.

Dimitar Dimitrov, PhD – Maritime Ambassador of the International Maritime Organization to Bulgaria introduced them to the significance of maritime transportation and the opportunities for education at the Varna Maritime School "St. N. Chudotvorets” and the Higher Marine School “N. Y. Vaptsarov”. Completely immersed in the festive atmosphere, the little sailors had the opportunity to go on an exciting trip with yachts and pilot cutters in the Varna Bay. Then there was more fun for them – adventure on the “Pinta” Pirate Ship.
