BPI Co. with second scenic building – face of EC postcard

A second scenic photograph of a building constructed by Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company on a European project was awarded in the competition of the European Commission Europe in My Region. The selected photo is of the River Information Centre in Ruse, built under the project Implementation of River Information System in Bulgarian Stretch of the River Danube – BULRIS, financed under OP Transport 2007 – 2013.
This is the second award for BPI Co. after the pictorial photography of the vessel traffic management and information coastal centre Coastal Centre in Burgas was selected in the photo competition of successfully implemented international projects for month of March 2019.
Bulgaria is the first country in Europe with an administrative and operational traffic control centre of the Danube River. The River Information Services Centre – Ruse was opened on September 10, 2015. The BULRIS system is a communication network in line with all technical guidelines in the planning, implementation and operational use of river information systems (RIS) to ensure effective and safe navigation on the inland waterways.
