The Danube Ports Network established within the international DAPhNE project, in which Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Co. has a key participation, started successfully in April 2019. Danube Ports Network /DPN/ will serve as a permanent communication channel for exchange of experience, good practices and promoting the transfer of know-how.

In the presence of the Director General of BPI Co. Anguel Zabourtov, elected member of the First Danube Ports Network Advisory Group, the Network was officially presented during the Danube Ports Policy Day. The event was held on 10.04.2019 in Vienna, Austria. During the meeting,  Zabourtov participated in an interactive panel discussion on the prospects, challenges and initiatives for the ports of the Danube region.

The network is established to allow ports to reach their full potential in lively economic centres. It brings together public and private stakeholders from the Danube region for long-term cooperation to overcome existing problems and jointly manage the future challenges facing the port sector.
