The Head of Public Relations and Protocol Dept. to Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company Ms. Mariela Ganchovska leaded the official award ceremony in the 42^nd edition of Regatta “Port Varna” for children and adolescents. The event took place on 20 August 2017 in Varna on board the symbol of Bulgarian sailing – the ship Kaliakra. Thus with lots of children’s smiles and happy emotions successfully completed the disputed contest in class Optimistic, Laser 4.7 and 420.

The cups of the winners were handed by the Minister of Youth and Sport Mr. Krasen Kralev. Talented young athletes were also delighted with special gifts from BPI Co. Speed, strength and sporting skills counted 82 athletes from 9 Bulgarian sailing clubs in the period 17 August – 20 August 2017. The sea filled with sails and the lovers of the attractive water sport watched the beautiful view from the promenade.

Organizer of this year’s regatta, dedicated to the 40^th anniversary of the world tour of Captain Georgi Georgiev is YC Cap. G. Georgiev – Port Varna. The sporting competition took place in the Varna Bay aquatorium with the support of the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company.
