Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Co. with international recognition on the prestigious event “Ports and Navigation on the Black Sea 2017” in Batumi, Georgia

Once again Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company (BPI Co.) received international recognition for the achievements in the field of modernizing and improving maritime transport. Successfully realized by BPI Co. projects for navigation services on sea, monitoring of sea waters, Geographical Information System for port management and others were presented during the 6th Black Sea Ports and Shipping 2017 Conference – Exhibition.
In the prestigious event that took place from 17 to 19 May 2017 in Batumi, Georgia participated more than 200 experts in maritime business for Italy, Germany, and Romania, The Netherlands, Georgia and others.
The modern systems for vessel traffic management implemented in Bulgaria drew serous interest by the delegates. They appreciated the results achieved by BPI Co. in terms of stimulating the development of freight and passenger transport, facilitating the administrative service for the maritime business, improving the planning of the visits to the Bulgarian ports and shortening the time for loading and unloading operations.
Black Sea Ports and Shipping is among the largest international events in the field of maritime transport. Next year the emblematic forum will be held for the first time in Bulgaria – in Varna. The organizer on the Bulgarian side will be Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company.
