BULRIS System starts at unprecedented interest

In the presence of the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski, the Director General of Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company Anguel Zabourtov, the Mayor of Ruse Plamen Stoilov, the Chairman of the Committee on Transport, Information Technology and Communications of the National Assembly Grozdan Karadjov, the Director of Customs Agency Vanyo Tanov was given the official start of the system BULRIS.
“With its upgraded and improved functions, on Phase 2, the BULRIS System will now work in full capacity”, said Mr. Anguel Zabourtov, opening the ceremony. This completes successfully the project Implementation of River Information System in the Bulgarian stretch of the Danube River – BULRIS, financed by the European Regional Development Fund on Operational Programme on Transport 2007–2013.
The total cost of this large and complex project involving the design and construction activities, supply of hardware and software for communications service, microwave, radio telephone, radar systems and a system for monitoring and visualization of the ship traffic, is 37 427 697,90 BGN.
